Being Lazy Is Much Easier Than Being Productive
Posted by Simple Dude | Posted in Stupid People, TV | Posted on 04-06-2012
I hope everyone had a great weekend. I did, outside of having to go into work briefly on Sunday. But I have today off! I need to decide what I am going to do with myself today. Got any suggestions?
This is what I SHOULD do:
– I should spend some time packing, we’re closing on our new house in about 3 weeks so there is plenty to do.
– I should attempt to do some writing – being so busy lately has made my motivation to write nonexistent.
– I should go for a nice three or four mile run. Much like writing, my workout motivation has been in the crapper. That sounds unintentionally gross.
Those are all good things I should do, but in reality I’ll probably spend much of the day being lazy, watching really crappy daytime TV, which isn’t even that entertaining.

Now THIS would be entertaining daytime TV!
If you’re bored today tweet some random questions at me – I’ll answer them all, and it will keep both of us entertained for a few minutes! If you’re not following me on Twitter, what the hell are you thinking? I’ll follow you back! Promise! Twitter: @TheSimpleDude
Before I turn on the TV and hit the couch, I wanted to do a little pimping for a blogger I recently found. He goes by the name J.S. Wright and he has a couple of very cool blogs. He’s a great writer with a funny, witty style that I think you’ll dig.
Check out his recent post about living life to it’s fullest on his blog Full Disclosure. In other words, he’s saying don’t piss away your time watching daytime TV! Tell him I sent you and he’ll give you a free hug… and if he won’t, I will.

Come and fix my towel rail, I’m too lazy to do it myself.

Come sit at my desk for me, so I can sit at the sewing machines!

Um SD I’m worried about you. I don’t think I’ve ever been desperate enough to watch a television show about someone who is obsessed with pooping.
Maybe you should think about selling the tv.

I have found a “Tower Defense” game as a google chrome app, and easily spent 8 hours this weekend playing it. If you need a time killer, it’s a great one.

I absolutely loved J.S. Wright’s blog, but found that I could neither comment nor follow him.

I think you should eat chips and watch tv… packing is overrated. Just sayin’. Love Elle xo

So with only 3 weeks before moving you are actually contemplating a day on the couch? All I can ask is does Lady Friend know of this intention? Surely she has a long list of things you need to be doing

I have so much stuff you can fix over here and you are sitting there doing nothing. I am quite sure after you close on that house, you will have more than enough to keep you busy!

Hey guess what!
You can follow me now. The commenting on the other hand… is a mystery *this* detective has yet to figure out.

I have read a few of your blog entries, got a good laugh.
For this “Lazy” entry, I was just wondering what kind of “ransom” questions did you want us to ask of you…. LOL Gotcha with an oops.. LOL

Aw, I get it. I kind of stopped doing everything for a while. First because I had a really nasty flu that would not go away. Then I just couldn’t get my motivation back. I am sorry I missed the tweet party.
Good luck with the move.
